I, Kristin Lentz, personally commit to the following:

  • Inclusive Culture – I will work to create an inclusive culture, including fostering discussions to promote an open dialogue around DEI and engaging with the firm’s DEI Committee to drive new initiatives.
  • Education and Training – I will ensure that we host regular and meaningful educational training around DEI issues such as implicit bias, inclusion efforts and allyship for all employees.
  • Leader Accountability – I will require that department heads report on diversity and inclusionary efforts in their strategic planning for their respective departments/groups.
  • Succession Planning – I will ensure that diverse individuals are considered in succession planning for all leadership roles within the firm and on client teams.
  • Creating an Environment for Success – I will do my part to train and mentor diverse associates and work to provide firm infrastructure to assist with their development and ultimate success in the practice of law.
  • Community – I will partner with external organizations to promote DEI in the legal profession (Law School… Yes We Can, Center for Legal Inclusiveness, Denver Coalition for Racial Equity).
  • Pipeline – I will support efforts to promote DEI with undergraduates and law students.  I will ensure that our firm provides fellowships/externships to diverse students.
