I, Alena Brenner, personally commit to the following:
- As a member of the Cornerstone Building Brands Executive Committee, I will use my voice and leadership role to promote DEI within the Legal Department and throughout the broader organization.
- I will engage in conversations and set expectations with outside counsel/law firms on the topic of DEI to ensure interests are aligned with the vision of Cornerstone Building Brands.
- I will develop DEI metrics for the selection and retention of outside counsel/law firms to drive and track progress.
- Consistent with the policy of Cornerstone Building Brands, I will continue internal recruitment and retention efforts focused on DEI.
- I will continue to promote an inclusive culture in the Legal Department that fosters trust and openness to discuss DEI topics and concerns.
- I will support and participate in initiatives of LCLD and other professional organizations/bar associations that embrace DEI and encourage members of the Legal Department to do the same.
