To foster this growth, Butler Snow is pleased to sponsor a 1L LCLD Scholar as part of our Summer Associate Program. Butler Snow’s primary means through which it identifies and hires new law school graduates is its Summer Associate Program. The Summer Associate Program focuses on candidates who have completed their first (1L) year of law school and is typically offered for six (6) weeks during the first half of the summer. Summer Associates will have “real world” experiences with opportunities to attend depositions, trials, closings, meetings and judicial proceedings. The program offers a variety of work assignments and social activities to help students become better acquainted with the firm’s lawyers. The six-week program occurs during the first half of the summer.
