2025 Summer Associate/1L Scholar

Bondurant Mixson and Elmore, LLP is a 37-lawyer litigation boutique in midtown Atlanta focused on representing plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes business disputes. BME is seeking exceptional1L candidates interested in trial and appellate litigation who have a sincere desire to practice law in Atlanta long-term. Successful candidates will have a record of outstanding academic achievement and experience and strong legal writing skills, confirming their potential to excel in the legal profession and contribute to the firm’s success.

Our summer associates receive hands-on training and assignments for substantive, meaningful work. They do work that, if it were not performed by summer associates, would be done by the firm’s junior associates. Summer associates typically assist with client conferences, depositions, hearings, and, where possible, trials during their time at the firm. Our goal is to provide a realistic sense of what it will be like to practice law at our firm.

Our summer program is designed to expose students not only to our practice but also to our lawyers and the city of Atlanta. To that end, we invite summer associates to participate in a variety of recreational and social activities, ranging from lunches and dinners at the city’s best restaurants to concerts, sporting events, and other activities.

Compensation for summer associates is competitive with the top firms in Atlanta.
