2025 1L Summer Associate

Frost Brown Todd’s 1L Summer Associate Program is an eight-week in-person program designed to not only give law students the tools and hands-on experience they need to propel themselves forward on their career paths but also share what life as an Associate at FBT is all about. Summer Associates are paired with two mentors — an Associate and a Partner — and assigned projects that correspond to their interests, along with opportunities to “shadow” attorneys during actual trials, negotiations, and client consultations. In addition, Summer Associates participate in our in-house training programs, attend weekly practice group presentations, and receive substantive feedback at both their mid-summer and end-of-summer evaluations. Our many informal social events — including a Firmwide Summer Associate event – also present a great opportunity to build lasting connections with Attorneys and other Summer Associates.

Interested candidates must have good academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills.

For applicants physically based in Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the salary is $3,650 /week.
