In Birmingham and Huntsville, the program runs from May 12 to August 15. In Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Jackson, Nashville, and Tampa, the program takes place from May 12 to August 1. Bradley requires all first-time summer associates to participate in the program for a minimum of six weeks (and a maximum of ten weeks) within the program dates. If you are interested in applying for the LCLD scholar program, please make a note in your cover letter.
Bradley’s summer associates receive a comprehensive introduction to the culture of a large, dynamic law firm. They engage in real and substantive work, with opportunities to participate in trials, depositions, closings, negotiations, and client conferences. Summer associates forge their own path—choosing their assignments and gaining different experiences interacting with various attorneys and differing practice areas. Our program allows participants to experience a large firm environment while also observing how we prioritize personal attention, responsiveness, and strong relationships with our clients.
As a firm, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of value, ethics, and professional experience in the practice of law. We encourage summer associates to socialize with our attorneys outside of work, gaining deeper insights into life at our firm through community events and informal gatherings.
