Consistent with our founding principles of client service and legal innovation, diversity is one of the core values by which Katten operates. Accordingly, Katten is pleased to seek 1L Summer Associate applications for our 2025 1L Diversity Scholars Program in our Chicago office.

We are seeking law students who have excellent academic credentials, strong communication, analytical and writing skills, relevant work and leadership experience, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Eligible applicants must be enrolled full-time in an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of 2027 at the time of application.

Applications must include a resume, diversity statement (1-2 pages) and an unofficial transcript. Katten recognizes that grades may not be available at the time of application; accordingly, we will initially accept applications without a transcript provided that the transcript is sent to [email protected] once it is released.

Compensation for this position is based off of an annualized salary of $225,000 per year for the 10 week program.
