Tampa Bay Alumni | Community Service Event
Tampa Bay Alumni, please join us for a lively morning as we partner with the Feeding Tampa Bay on February 27, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am EST for a Warehouse Sorting Shift. Volunteers will inspect perishable and/or non-perishable foods for their expiration date and quality, then package those good foods into bags/boxes that will be distributed to our hungry neighbors soon thereafter. This will be followed by a group lunch at The Columbia, 2117 E. 7th Ave., Tampa, FL 33605, courtesy of Carlton Fields. Spaces tend to go fast—sign up today!
- Note: You have to create a login to sign up for a volunteer shift (but you can sign in through a Google account). Then, it will prompt you to choose one of 3 options – to sign up as an individual, to create a group signup, or to sign up as an individual onto an already existing group. Please sign up as an individual.
- BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: ALL volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. sneakers) for warehouse safety. Volunteers wearing open-toe shoes will not be allowed to volunteer. Appropriate attire includes shirts with sleeves (no tank-tops), and jeans or shorts of appropriate length.
