GC Bootcamp | Insurance Management & Renewal

This GC Bootcamp session will cover the fundamentals of commercial insurance. GCs will learn about the different types of business insurance policies; procurement and renewal; when and how to file or tender a claim; compliance with policy conditions such as notice, cooperation, and consent to settle; common exclusions and limitations of coverage; the distinction between defense and indemnity; reservation of rights; control of the defense; and recent trends in insurance recovery.
