Better Than Before: A Mid-Year Update


Join Professor Kenji Yoshino, Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Constitutional Law at NYU School of Law, and David Glasgow, Executive Director of the Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, for an analysis of the state of DEI work one year after the Supreme Court’s affirmative action decision. This interactive session will cover topics like:

  • What legal developments have occurred over the past 12 months?
  • What challenges, trends, and opportunities have emerged in the field of DEI?
  • What do DEI practitioners and lawyers need to know as they continue this work in an ever-shifting legal environment?

Learning Objectives

  • Gain a primer on the ongoing legal challenges to DEI, including the impact of last year’s Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action
  • Review the trends that have emerged in the dozens of anti-DEI lower court cases that have been filed
  • Gain insight into DEI legal issues on the horizon and emerging threats and opportunities
  • Acquire concrete recommendations for advancing DEI in the new legal landscape

This course will be eligible for 1.5 CLE credits in California, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. Attendees must attend this webinar for the full 90 minutes in order to receive CLE credit. Partial CLE credit may not be available.
