To become a Member of LCLD is to join a community of individuals and organizations united by a shared commitment to equality and justice and the advancement of underrepresented talent in our organizations.

We do so by making pledges: articulations of our personal commitment to DEI that translate into organizational changes that are specific, meaningful, and measurable. Here’s what you need to know to get started.


How it Works.

  1. Build.

    Explore the commitments your peers in the industry are making. Take a look at our resources on creating your own plan. Get input from others at your organization—talk to your chief diversity officer and LCLD Alumni about how you can make an impact. Need more help? Reach out to the LCLD team to schedule a consultation.

  2. Share.

    Write a pledge that captures your vision for DEI in your organization, and submit it to LCLD. We will notify you when your pledge has been published on the website.

  3. Act.

    You’ve laid out goals in your Leader's Pledge that are specific, meaningful, and measurable. Now it’s time to get after them. Look out for LCLD Member events to support you as you implement your pledge.

  4. Measure.

    As you continue toward your goals, it's critical to track your progress—and share lessons learned with the LCLD community. Reach out to the LCLD team to ask about the Pledge Tracker.
